The Mother that first approached me out in the flats of Red Rock Country of Western New Mexico.
She must have had an idea what I was doing and posed so proud with her little one in the oven.
I wanted some nice environmental portraits of these beautiful horses and all of them were obliging once I began with "Mother" It was a good day.
This new new process of the original file and a
better representation of the scene that afternoon.
She stood and let me photograph her for a few minutes as she stood steady and strong looking into the sunset.
I have no doubt she knew I was capturing her beauty.
